Thursday’s WNBA slate is pretty quiet, featuring only a solo game between the Dallas Wings and New York Liberty. These teams just faced off Tuesday, when the Liberty easily disposed of Dallas with a 20-point blowout en route to their 12th win in their last 15 games. While we could be in store for another surgical performance from the Liberty, I’ve found a player prop that could be safe even in a blowout.

Arike Ogunbowale has had an inefficient season thus far for Dallas. The lack of help can be considered a key contributor to her up-and-down campaign, but the good news is that the help has finally arrived. Thursday, both Satou Sabolly and Maddy Siergist will be back in action for the Wings. While this will help ease the workload on Arike, it will still be a tough task for Dallas to compete with the Liberty on the road.
Ogunbowale has shot a high volume from three-point range this season averaging 8.5 attempts per night and connecting on 35% of them. While Arike’s shot volume has dropped with the return of Sabolly, she’s still attempted six and seven threes in their first two games together. The Liberty has allowed the third-most 3-point attempts to opposing guards and the fifth-most made 3-pointer against this season. Ogunbowale has connected on at least three shots from beyond the arc against the Liberty in five straight games, and I expect that trend to continue Thursday with a 13.5-point spread.
