WNBA Best Bets (Thursday 7/4)

Happy Independence Day! Thursday night, we have a small two-game slate in the WNBA, featuring a rematch of two of the top teams in the league. 

Connecticut Sun at Minnesota Lynx 

The Sun took the first meeting between these two, and it came down to overtime. The Lynx covered as 5.5-point underdogs in that meeting — this time, they are 2.5-point favorites on their home floor. Covering spreads has been a problem lately for the Sun as they are 1-5 ATS their last six games. Both of these teams have been dominant on their home floor. The Lynx enter 9-1 at home on the season. While the Connecticut Sun have only lost a total of four games this season, three of those losses have occurred over their past five games. The Sun will be playing their fifth road game out of their last six overall. This should set up to be another slug fest between the top two defenses in the W, but I’ll be backing the home team to get their revenge.
