Thursday, we have an NFC North battle taking place in Detroit for Thursday Night Football. The 9-3 Green Bay Packers are traveling to take on the 11-1 Detroit Lions. I have a four-leg parlay cooked up for this one, so let’s get into the plays.

Josh Jacobs 60+ Rushing Yards

Jacobs has been the MVP of the Packers’ offense this season. He’s exceeded 60 rushing yards in nine of 12 games, averaging 83 per game. Jacobs has faced the Lions twice over the last two seasons and has cleared 60 rushing yards in both games, averaging 78 per game. Detroit’s rush defense has been among the best in the NFL, but they have been struck by the injury bug lately. Jacobs has had at least 18 carriers in six of his last eight games, averaging 18.7 carriers per game, and he’s averaging 4.5 yards per carry on the season.

Jahmyr Gibbs 40+ Rushing Yards

Gibbs has exceeded 40 rushing yards in all 12 games this season, averaging 81 per game. Per FTN’s StatsHub, Gibbs is averaging the second-most yards per carry in the league at 6.0. He’s averaging 13.6 yards per carry this season. In three career head-to-head meetings against the Packers, Gibbs has cleared 40 rushing yards in all three games, averaging 53 per game.

Christian Watson 40+ Receiving Yards

Romeo Doubs will be out again for the Packers, opening up opportunities for Christian Watson. He’s averaging 40.9 YPG and has exceeded 40 receiving yards in all five career games without Doubs, averaging 76 yards per game. Per FTN’s DVOA-Adjusted Fantasy Points Against Tool, the Lions have allowed opposing wide receiver groups to produce at a rate 23% above the league average, which is second worst in the NFL defensively.

Sam LaPorta 40+ Receiving Yards

LaPorta is having a lackluster sophomore campaign after setting the NFL on fire in his rookie season. He’s only exceeded 40 receiving yards in five of 11 games this season, but this matchup against the Packers has been a plus spot for tight ends all season. Per FTN’s DVOA-Adjusted Fantasy Points Against Tool, the Packers allow opposing tight ends to produce at a rate of 19% above the league average.
