The 2024 season has been magical for us at FTN. PGA DFS is a unique challenge, and one that we’ve conquered on a consistent basis thanks to the new GPP Scores (check out this single-entry takedown review for more),
The GPP Scores are just one of our advantages, though. The Course Fit Model also helps point us to players that the rest of the industry is overlooking, particularly when our read of what will matter differs from the rest of the industry’s. The purpose of this page is to help you dip your toes and become a little more familiar with everything we have to offer at FTN from a PGA DFS perspective. So, without further ado, free plays!
We will have three sections of plays:
-
- Top plays
-
- High-risk/high-reward plays
-
- Best cheapies
The Top Plays section is not simply the players who project the best. Our Top Plays section also factors in ownership, so that we are never listing a player as a Top Play that we are suggesting our subscribers fade. Sometimes a Top Play will even be contrarian. The other two categories speak for themselves. Analysis of each play appears at the bottom, though non-subscribers will only be able to see the first few.
Top Plays
Scottie Scheffler
Xander Schauffele
Tommy Fleetwood
High Risk/High Reward
Billy Horschel
Cameron Young
Justin Thomas
Best Cheapies
Robert MacIntyre
Byeong Hun An
Austin Eckroat
Scottie Scheffler
Even in this field, he’s projected to gain over two strokes per round. The lack of intriguing value will keep his rostership subdued.
Xander Schauffele
He should be priced in his own tier, closer to Scheffler and further from Rory McIlroy. The fact that he isn’t is a pricing error and the fact that he isn’t more popular is a rostership error.
Tommy Fleetwood
Sixth in our expected strokes gained projection. You can question the win equity, but at his price, you don’t need him to win.
