NHL Showdown plays for Stars-Lightning Game 3

Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final between the Dallas Stars and Tampa Bay Lightning gets underway Wednesday with the NHL DFS Showdown slate beginning at 8 p.m. ET. 

As of Wednesday afternoon, we’re still uncertain if Steven Stamkos will play his first NHL game since February. Lightning head coach Jon Cooper says their captain is “inching closer” to a return, according to Joe Smith of The Athletic.
