Be sure to check out Mean Streets for daily picks and Dangle Bet Celly for full NHL breakdowns each Tuesday and Thursday.

Season Record: 63-56, +8.61 (Bonus not included in record)

The reason I list three official picks is because I don’t want to confuse anyone with too many picks. I also feel strong about my bonus picks but they are longer shots. If you’re looking for more be sure to check out our Pick Tracker

The Best NHL Prop Bets

Vladimir Tarasenko Point

(-128, FanDuel Sportsbook)

Tarasenko only has one point in his last four games, but he’s in a good spot to hit the score sheet Tuesday. The Blue Jackets coughed up eight goals to the Montreal Canadiens in their last game and it was their third time in five games where they’ve allowed at least seven goals. In fact, Columbus has surrendered at least four goals in 11 straight games. Since Feb. 1, they rank first in shot attempts allowed, second in shots allowed, second in goals against and third in high danger chances allowed at 5v5/60, according to Natural Stat Trick. Tarasenko remains on the Rangers’ first line and despite just one point in his last four games, he’s still found a way to rack up five points in his last seven games. Panarin’s point prop may be my second favorite in this game as he has four multi-point games in March and three in his last five matchups.

Bonus

  • Artemi Panrin O 1.5 Points (+175, DraftKings)
  • Tarasenko Assist (+146, FanDuel)
  • Chris Kreider Assist (+165, DraftKings)
  • Mika Zibanejad Goal (+140, FanDuel)
  • Patrick Kane Goal (+180, FanDuel)
  • Zibanejad, Kreider, Tarasenko Points SGP (+240, Bet365)

Michael Matheson Over 2.5 SOG

(-125, BetRivers)

Matheson has been extremely impressive on offense over the last month. In fantasy hockey, he’s been a top-50 skater over the past 30 days. His 13 points are tied for the sixth most among defensemen and only Kris Letang has more shots than Matheson’s 47. Since Feb. 24, Matheson has 106 shot attempts, which again is only behind Letan among blueliners. What’s maybe most impressive, is the fact he’s averaging 25:37 per game and he’s logged a league high 428:37 over that span. Those 106 shot attempts are tied for the 11th-most when you include forwards (1. David Pastrnak 147). He’s among the elite when it comes to points over the past six weeks. Overall, Matheson has cleared 2.5 shots on goal in four straight games and 13 of his last 17 matchups. He’s had at least two in 17 straight games and the ice time is there, so I have no issues going back to him on the second half of a back-to-back where he played 29 minutes and logged five shots Monday.

Bonus

  • Brendan Gallagher O 2.5 SOG (+120, DraftKings)
  • Joel Farabee Point (-122, FanDuel)
  • Rafael Harvey-Pinard Point (+130, DraftKings)
  • Farabee Goal (+270, FanDuel)
  • Farabee Power Play Point (+770, FanDuel) — Farabee’s shot prop is juiced at 1.5, so maybe consider him in a parlay.

Patrice Bergeron Point

(-130, DraftKings Sportsbook)

If you’re looking for a plus-money play, I have plenty in our Bet Tracker and I listed a few on Mean Streets. Bergeron returns to the lineup after missing one game due to an illness. His Bruins have the second-highest team implied total, and they’re -330 favorites on home ice. Bergeron enters on a five-game point streak and has five assists over that span. The Predators have lost five of their last seven games and they’ve allowed at least seven goals in two of those games. Roman Josi, Filip Forsberg, Matt Duchene and Ryan Johansen are all sidelined.

Bonus

  • Bergeron Assist (+185, DraftKings)
  • DeBrusk Point (-140, FanDuel)
  • Brad Marchand, Bergeron, DeBrusk Point SPG (+240, Bet365)
  • David Krejci Assist (+146, DraftKings)

I like DeBrusk and David Pastrnak’s shot prop, but they are a touch too juicy to take as singles. I have some parlay options on the tracker.
