Welcome to the NHL prop bets w/ Chris Meaney, where I share a few of my favorite NHL prop bets. There are 10 games on the NHL betting slate for Tuesday.

We’ve won just 30 units in the NHL over the last five days. Hopefully we can keep it up. If you’re looking to be part of our FTN Bets family, check out some of the links below, including our free three-day trial.

Season Record: 50-45, +6.72 (Bonus not included in record)

I think we picked up nearly 10 units on bonus bets alone on Tuesday, so I’m still going to list them. The reason I list three official picks is because I don’t want to confuse anyone with too many picks. I also feel strong about my bonus picks but they are longer shots. If you’re looking for more be sure to check out our Pick Tracker

The Best NHL Prop Bets

Clayton Keller Over 2.5 SOG

(-118, BetRivers)

Keller has been all over the net of late as he enters Tuesday’s contest with nine goals and 19 points over his last 11 games. He’s only cleared 2.5 shots in five of those games, but he had six in his last game against a weak Predators team and gets an even weaker team Tuesday as the Blackhawks roll into Arizona having played Monday. Chicago got spanked 4-2 in Anaheim Monday, and I don’t like their chances to limit shots with Patrick Kane, Jonathan Toews and now Jake McCabe out of their lineup. Since Jan. 1, the Blackhawks have allowed the third-most shots and fourth-most attempts at 5v5/60, according to Natural Stat Trick. Keep an eye on Max Domi who cleared 2.5 shots for us Monday. Domi has four goals and 14 points over a current seven-game point streak. He’s cleared 2.5 shots in three straight and four of his last five games. Arizona is right there with Chicago in terms of allowing rubber.

Bonus

Thomas Novak Point

(+102, DraftKings Sportsbook)

Novak has five goals and 11 points over a current five-game point streak. He’s received a boost in ice time as he’s playing on the first line and first power play with the Preds down Filip Forsberg, Ryan Johanson and now Nino Niederreiter. I like the Pens to win the game, but they’re extremely inconsistent. They’ve allowed at least four goals in five of their last eight games. Plus money for a point and +180 for an assist is terrific value for a guy who has six assists over his last four games. He also has power play points in back-to-back games.

Bonus

Jack Quinn Point

(+145, DraftKings Sportsbook)

This is our plus money play of the night and someone we talked a lot about on Dangle Bet Celly. Quinn took Alex Tuch’s spot on the Sabres’ top line in their last game and he picked up two assists. Quinn has picked up two goals and six points over his last six games. He’s in a much better spot to continue that with exposure to Tage Thompson and Jeff Skinner. Buffalo enters with the second-highest goals per game number at 3.78 and the Blue Jackets have allowed the third-most shot attempts and fourth-most shots over the last two months. Only Anaheim and Vancouver have allowed more goals per game than Columbus (3.68). This could be a very fun game with plenty of goals, so consider some other options below.
