Welcome to the NHL prop bets w/ Chris Meaney, where I share a few of my favorite NHL prop bets. There are 11 games on the NHL betting slate for Tuesday.

Below you’ll see a list of my favorite NHL Props for the night. Be sure to check out our FTN Bets Tracker for more! With our betting package you get all of our picks across all sports, plus access to our Discord channel and to our projections. Promo code Meaney will get you 20% off all packages at FTN

FTNBets.com/free for a free three-day trial.

Be sure to check out Mean Streets for daily picks and Dangle Bet Celly for full NHL breakdowns each Tuesday and Thursday.

Season Record: 31-19, +13.02 (Bonus not included in record)

I still like my bonus bets even though I don’t include them in the official record. The reason I list three official picks is because I don’t want to confuse anyone with too many picks. I also feel strong about my bonus picks but they are longer shots. If you’re looking for more be sure to check out our Pick Tracker. The Bonus picks finished 10/14 last week.

The Best NHL Props Bets

Roope Hintz Over 2.5 SOG

(-106, BetRivers)

Hintz is a tad juiced elsewhere, which is why the Prop Shop at FTN Bets is so cool. I’d take anything up to -140 for Hintz to get three shots on goal. He has at least three shots in nine of his past 11 games. The Hintz, Jason Robertson and Joe Pavelski line is better at home, but they’re still strong on the road and the Preds are thin down the middle of the ice. Nashville has coughed up the fourth-most shot attempts and third-most shots at 5v5/60 over the past six weeks, according to Natural Stat Trick.

Bonus

  • Jason Robertson O 3.5 SOG (-125, BetRivers)

Tomas Hertl Over 2.5 SOG

(+130, DraftKings Sportsbook)

Hertl returns to the lineup after missing two games due to a suspension. He had six goals and 11 points in his previous nine games before the suspension. He cleared 2.5 shots in seven of those nine games, and he had at least four shots in six of those contests. I’m surprised we’re getting plus money because the Canucks rank seventh in shot attempts and shots allowed at 5v5/60 over the last six weeks of the season.

Since Dec. 15, the Canucks have a 3.56 GA/60 at 5v5/60, the second-highest mark in the league behind the Blackhawks (3.72). Vancouver ranks fourth in high danger chances and scoring chances allowed at 5v5/60. Consider Hertl +250 for a goal and -106 for an assist. Spencer Martin has coughed up at least five goals in three straight games and at least three in 14 of his 17 games (at least 4 goals in 10 games)

Bonus

William Nylander Over 3.5 SOG

(-104, Caesars)

Nylander leads the Maple Leafs in goals with 20, and his 39 points are just one back of Mitch Marner for the team lead. However, Nylander leads Toronto in goals (15), points (15), power play points (5) and shots (53) over the last month. He has goals in three straight games and 13 points in his past seven games. Six of those points were goals, and he’s a good bet to score again Tuesday because he’s shooting like mad man. The winger has 18 shots in his past three games and at least four SOG in nine of his last 10 contests.

Bonus

I have more NHL props to consider from Tuesday’s episode of Mean Streets.
