Welcome to the NHL prop bets w/ Chris Meaney, where I share a few of my favorite NHL prop bets. There are seven games on the NHL betting slate for Thursday.
Tuesday’s article went pretty good, as we finished 9/10 (3/3 on the official picks and 6/7 with the bonus picks), so hopefully we can carry that over into this slate.
Below you’ll see a list of my favorite NHL Props for tonight. Be sure to check out our FTN Bets Tracker for more! With our betting package you get all of our picks across all sports, plus access to our Discord channel and to our projections. Promo code Meaney will get you 20% off all packages at FTN.

Be sure to check out Mean Streets for daily picks and Dangle Bet Celly for full NHL breakdowns each Tuesday and Thursday.
Season Record: 29-18, +11.01 (Bonus not included in record)
I still like my bonus bets even though I don’t include them in the official record. The reason I list three official picks is because I don’t want to confuse anyone with too many picks. I also feel strong about my bonus picks but they are longer shots. If you’re looking for more be sure to check out our Pick Tracker.
The Best NHL Props Bets
Tyler Toffoli Over 2.5 SOG
(-114, BetRivers)
I was going to double down on a point from Dillon Dube and as you see below, I still like him here, but I’m going to lead with Tyler Toffoli’s 2.5 SOG NHL prop, and I’m on the over. Toffoli enters with three goals and five points over a two-game point streak, and he’s hit the score sheet in six of his last 10 games. He’s been shooting plenty over this run as well as he’s cleared 2.5 shots in six of his past nine games and he’s finished with at least four shots on goal in five of his past eight contests.
Bonus
- Tyler Toffoli Point (-130, FanDuel Sportsbook)
- Dillon Dube Point (-112, FanDuel Sportsbook)
- SGP: Toffoli, Dube, Elias Lindholm Point (+320, Bet365)
Kevin Fiala Over 2.5 SOG
(-132, FanDuel Sportsbook)
We lost a little bit of the value on Fiala’s shot prop since it was placed in our Bet Tracker Thursday morning, but I don’t mind this price at FanDuel and Caesars. After a slow start, Fiala has shown Kings’ fans why the organization went out and acquired him. The winger has 13 points in his last 11 games and has cleared 2.5 shots on goal in eight of those games, including four straight. In fact, he has at least four shots on goal in each of his past four games and 21 total.
Bonus
- Adrian Kempe O 2.5 SOG (-114, FanDuel Sportsbook)
- Fiala, Kempe & Anze Kopitar Point (+250 Bet365)
Matt Boldy Over 2.5 SOG
(-110, FanDuel)
Boldy was good to us Wednesday, so I’m going back to him here, despite this being the second half of a back-to-back for the winger. Boldy scored his 12th goal of the season in Minnesota’s 4-1 win in Anaheim and added two assists. He had a team-high 13 shot attempts and finished with six shots. He’s had at least three shots on goal in six of his past eight games. The Sharks are without Tomas Hertl for one more game and the lack of depth showed in their last game as they lost 7-3 to Calgary and they allowed 38 shots. Hertl’s suspension leaves the Sharks extremely thin down the middle of the ice, so I expect Minnesota to dominate 5v5 play, and Boldy is the trigger man on the first power play should MIN get a few opportunities.
Bonus
- Matt Boldy Point (-124, FanDuel Sportsbook)
- Matt Boldy Goal (+235, FanDuel Sportsbook)
I have more NHL props to consider from Thursday’s episode of Mean Streets.
