The Best NHL Prop Bets
Kirill Kaprizov Over 1.5 Pts
(+110, BetMGM)
Kaprizov has been held off the score sheet in back-to-back games, so we’re getting a decent price. He had multi point games in seven straight and eight of nine before this mini-slump. According to Natural Stat Trick, the Sharks rank third in shot attempts, shots, scoring chances and expected goals against at 5v5/60.
Bonus
Matt Boldy O 3.5 SOG (+120, BetMGM)
Joel Eriksson Ek O 2.5 SOG (-145, Bet365)
Boldy Goal (+160, Bet365)
Jack Roslovic Point
(+105, BetMGM)
Roslovic has yet to pick up an assist in his first 11 games with the Hurricanes, but he has seven goals. The winger has fit in nicely, especially alongside Sebastian Aho and Andrei Svechnikov. Roslovic has had plenty of chances with the big boys and he should get a few more against a Pittsburgh team that has coughed up the second most shot attempts at 5v5/60. The Pens rank third in high danger chances allowed and third in goals against at 5v5/60. Meanwhile, the Hurricanes are first in shot attempts and shots at 5v5/60.
Bonus
Shayne Gostisbehere Point (-120,BetMGM)
Roslovic 3+ SOG (+155, Bet365)
Jack Roslovic Goal (+300 Bet365)
Jamie Benn Over 2.5 SOG
(+140, DraftKings Sportsbook)
Benn’s shot prop is our longshot bet of the night. The winger has been playing better lately as he has two goals and three points in his past four games. He’s not a big volume shooter but he has 11 shots in his past three games. The Blackhawks are on the second half of a back-to-back, and Dallas isn’t an easy place to play. Chicago ranks inside the top 10 in shot attempts allowed at 5v5/60
Bonus
Logan Stankoven Point (-125, Bet365)
Artturi Lehkonen Over 2.5 SOG
(+105, Bet365)
Lehkonen made his season debut this week and had a team-high 11 shot attempts. His four shots were tied for the team lead and his 22 minutes of ice time ranked fourth (second among forwards). The Avs remain thin up front even with the return of Lehkonen, so his usage rate should continue to be high.
