The Best NHL Props Bets for Thursday

Erik Karlsson Over 2.5 SOG

(-110, )

Karlsson has officially turned the clock back to 2015 as the two-time Norris Trophy winner is looking like he wants another one, as discussed on Thursday’s . Karlsson leads all defensemen with nine goals and 15 points. He had 10 goals and 35 points last season over 50 games, but I don’t think we should be shocked by his early season output. Karlsson has two 20-goal seasons and three 70-point seasons on his resume. He picked up 82 points over 82 games in 2015-16 with the Ottawa Senators.

Karlsson looks healthy this season and he’s owning the puck with Brent Burns no longer in San Jose. He enters tonight on a three-game point streak in which he has six goals, nine points and 17 shots. He has four power play points over that span, but he also has a team-high 24 shot attempts and 13 shots on goal at 5v5 over his last three games. He’s getting it done in all situations while averaging 23:47 per game which is the most he’s played since 2019. He’s cleared 2.5 shots in five straight games. He’s also -140 for one point.

Frank Vatrano Over 2.5 SOG

(-128, )

We got Vatrano at plus money
