The Best NHL Prop Bets

Kiril Kaprizov Over 1.5 Points

(+100, BetMGM)

Two-point props are a lot to ask for, but Kaprizov has been hitting consistently this season, and he’s in a smash spot. The winger has nine goals and 28 points in 15 games. He’s picked up at least two points in nine of his past 12 games, and he’s had at least three points in five games over this run. The Montreal Canadiens rank inside the top four in shot attempts, scoring chances and high-danger chances allowed at 5v5/60. Only the Anaheim Ducks have a higher expected goals against rate at 5v5/60, according to Natural Stat Trick.

Bonus

Cole Caufield Point (-125, DraftKings)
Marco Rossi Point (-130,BetMGM)
Matt Boldy Goal (+145,DraftKings)
MIN in 60 (-155, DraftKings)
MIN -1.5 (+100, DraftKings), 0.5u

Matt Duchene Point

(-135, DraftKings Sportsbook)

The Dallas Stars broke out in a big way in their last game, as they put up seven goals. It was the most goals they scored in a game since they played in Boston against the Bruins Oct. 24. They scored five goals in that win, led by Duchene’s three points. He gets the Bruins again Thursday, but this time at home, where he has eight points in seven games. The former third overall pick from 2009 has registered at least two points in six of his last nine games, and he has 15 points over that span. The veteran leads Dallas with eight goals and 18 points this season. Duchen’s linemates Tyler Seguin and Mason Marchment have also been just as hot.

Bonus

Tyler Seguin Point (-110,DraftKings)
Mason Marchment Point (+105, DraftKings)
Duchene, Seguin, Marchment 2 points (+4000, Bet365), 0.25u
Wyatt Johnston O 2.5 SOG (-124, BetRivers)
Brad Marchand O 2.5 SOG (-105, DraftKings)

Leon Draisaitl Over 1.5 Points

(+155 BetMGM)

Another two-point prop, but this is your long shot bet of the day. It may not be that big of a long shot when you consider Draisaitl has at least two points in 12 of his past 16 games against the Nashville Predators. He scored two goals and had three points in his last game this season against the Preds and he did that without Connor McDavid in the lineup. McDavid is coming off a four-point game and has seven points in his last three games as he chases down history. He could become the 99th player to reach 1,000 points — he’s just one point shy of reaching the milestone. As for Leon, he has 25 goals and 41 points in his last 16 games against Nashville. I needed a calculator to get there!

Bonus

Connor McDavid O 1.5 Points (-125,DraftKings)
Leon Draisaitl O 2.5 SOG (-114, BetRivers)
Jonathan Marchessault O 2.5 SOG (-125, DraftKings)
