We only have two games on the NHL slate for Tuesday, but I still found a way to come up with a few NHL orops to consider. The first game features the Toronto Maple Leafs vs. Los Angeles Kings, followed by the Vancouver Canucks vs. Nashville Predators.

Below you’ll see a link of Tuesday’s episode of Dangle Bet Celly where we discussed both games, highlighted some of the surprises in the NHL and talked about the best fantasy hockey pickups and who to drop.

We also gave some love to one of our subscribers at FTN Daily, who turned $1 into $600 Monday.

The odds change pretty quickly in the NHL, so take advantage of our Prop Shop for the best possible odds and check out our Pick Tracker for all of my picks. October is the best month of the year for a sports fan and our FTN Bets package includes picks from everyone at FTN Network, across all sports.

The Best NHL Prop Bets

Quinn Hughes Over 2.5 SOG

(+105, BetMGM)

Jack Hughes is getting all the attention in the NHL, but his brother Quinn is off to a very good start as well. The Canucks’ captain has three goals and eight points in eight games and he’s shooting the puck. He has at least three shots on goal in seven of those eight matchups. He enters Tuesday with at least three shots in six straight, and he’s had at least four shots in four of those games. He’s also played at least 25 minutes in six of his past seven contests. Hughes is averaging 24:36 per game, which is the eighth-most in the NHL. The former seventh overall pick from 2018 only averaged 1.9 shots per game last season, but so far this season he’s averaging 3.25.

Bonus

  • Filip Forsberg Over 3.5 SOG (-120, BetMGM)
  • Brock Boeser Over 2.5 SOG (-106, BetRivers)
  • Ryan O’Reilly Point (-120, PointsBet)
  • Elias Pettersson Assist (-135, BetMGM)

Trevor Moore Over 2.5 SOG

(-125, DraftKings Sportsbook)

Moore leads Los Angeles in 5v5 shots (19), and his 26 shots overall are tied for the team-high with Adrian Kempe. Moore has put at least three pucks on the net in six of his eight games, and he has 10 over his last two matchups. He’s played some tough teams this season as well (VGK, CAR and COL) and he was still able to register at least three shots in those games. Through his eight games, the winger is averaging 3.25 shots per game compared to 2.76 last season. He’s also averaging more ice time this year (at least 18 minutes in four of his eight games).

Bonus

  • Joseph Woll Over 27.5 Saves (-125, BetMGM)
  • William Nylander Over 3.5 SOG (+100, BetRivers)
  • John Tavares Assist (+120, BetMGM)
