The Best NHL Prop Bets

Sam Reinhart Over 2.5 SOG

(-109 BetRivers)

Reinhart is one of the hottest players going, as he’s up to 28 goals and 50 points in 39 games this season. He has goals in three straight games and five over that span. The winger has racked up 13 points in his last 10 games, and he has four multi-point games during this run. He’s cleared his 2.5 shot on goal prop in six consecutive games. According to Natural Stat Trick, the Blues rank eighth in shot attempts allowed and fifth in shots allowed at 5v5/60. Meanwhile, Florida ranks fifth in shots for and third in attempts. Reinhart’s center Aleksander Barkov is coming off a four-assist game. He has an impressive 32 assists in 36 games this season, including 15 in his last 10 games.

Bonus

  • Aleksander Barkov Assist (-110, BetMGM)
  • Aleksander Barkov O 2.5 SOG (-116, DraftKings)
  • Carter Verhaeghe Point (-160, DraftKings)
  • Barkov, Reinhart Points SGP (+105, Bet365)
  • Verhaeghe & Matthew Tkachuk Points (+105, Bet365)

Tyler Bertuzzi Point

(+100, DraftKings Sportsbook)

The Maple Leafs and Sharks are set to play the second half of a home and home in Toronto. The Leafs took care of San Jose 4-1 on Saturday for their third straight win. Bertuzzi picked up two assists in the victory and he dished out two assists in Toronto’s 3-0 win in Los Angeles last Tuesday. The winger only has 18 points in 37 games, but nine have come over his last 10 games. It certainly helps that he’s playing with William Nylander and John Tavares. Nylander’s 54 points are tied for the fifth-most in the NHL. The Sharks’ 3.67 GA/60 at 5v5 on the road is the second-highest mark in the league.

Bonus

Ryan Nugent-Hopkins Over 1.5 Points

(+180, DraftKings Sportsbook)

Edmonton is 17-6 since Kris Knoblauch took over behind the bench. The Oilers have scored at least four goals in 16 of those 23 games and they’ve scored at least five goals in eight of those games. Nugent-Hopkins has six multi-point games on the season and three of them have come over his last 10 games. RNH has hit the score sheet in 11 of his last 14 games. He has 19 points over that span and 12 of them were assists. On home ice this season at 5v5, Chicago ranks first in expected goals against, shots and high danger chances.

Bonus

  • Ryan Nugent-Hopkins Assist (-125, BetMGM)
  • Connor McDavid O 1.5 Points (-135, DraftKings)
  • Zach Hyman O 3.5 SOG (-125, DraftKings)
  • McDavid, Hyman, Nugent-Hopkins 2 Points (+900, Bet365)

Alex Tuch Point

(-130, DraftKings Sportsbook)

I’d like to go back to Alex Tuch after he worked out so well for us last week. The winger scored his 10th goal of the season and first since Dec. 15. It’s been a bit of a down year for Tuch and the Sabres’ top line but they’re all healthy at the moment, for the first time in a while. Tuch has three points and five shots in his last two games, his center Tage Thompson has 16 shots and six points over a current four-game point streak, and Jeff Skinner has six points in his last four matchups (17 SOG). All three are shooting and they’re picking up points. The Kraken enter on a six-game winning streak, but we’re just looking for a point and I think there’s pretty good value for the first line and first power play to hit the score sheet.

Bonus

  • Jeff Skinner Point (-125, DraftKings)
  • Tage Thompson Point (-160, DraftKings)
  • Tage Thompson, Alex Tuch, Jeff Skinner Points SGP (+260, Bet365)
  • Tage Thompson, Alex Tuch, Jeff Skinner 2 Points SGP (+3500, Bet365)
