Welcome to the NHL prop bets w/ Chris Meaney, where I share a few of my favorite NHL prop bets. There are three games on the NHL betting slate for Tuesday.

This is a great night for SGP point parlays, so be sure to check out our FTN Bets Tracker for more. With our betting package you get all of our picks across all sports, plus access to our Discord channel and to our projections. Promo code Meaney will get you 20% off all packages at FTN

FTNBets.com/free for a free three-day trial.

Be sure to check out Mean Streets for daily picks and Dangle Bet Celly for full NHL breakdowns each Tuesday and Thursday.

Season Record: 43-35, +8.11 (Bonus not included in record)

I still like my bonus bets even though I don’t include them in the official record. The reason I list three official picks is because I don’t want to confuse anyone with too many picks. I also feel strong about my bonus picks but they are longer shots. If you’re looking for more be sure to check out our Pick Tracker

The Best NHL Prop Bets

Claude Giroux Assist

(+120, DraftKings Sportsbook)

It’s not +130 like we had on Mean Streets, but this is still a decent price for a player who has an assist in four straight games and five of his past six. Giroux enters tonight’s game riding a four-game point streak, in which he has four goals and eight points. He has at least one power play point in three straight games and he’s racked up 10 shots on goal in his last two contests. He just played the Habs and had two goals, three points and four shots. The Canadiens rank second in penalty minutes, so we could see him extend his assist streak to five games.

Bonus

Teuvo Teravainen Point

(-122, FanDuel Sportsbook)

Teuvo has hit the score sheet in six of his past nine games and has totaled seven points over that span. Six of those seven points have been assists, so consider his assist prop as well, which has moved from +142 to +136 (follow FTN Alerts to get notified right away). Phoenix Copley gets the start for the Kingsm and he’s allowed three goals in back to back starts and at least three in five of his last seven games. Los Angeles has the fifth-highest GA/60 at 5v5 over the last month, according to Natural Stat Trick. They’re missing a couple of forwards up front, which won’t help their case limiting shots. Carolina ranks first or second in shot attempts, shots, scoring chances, high danger chances and expected goals against at 5v5/60 this season. Full unit on the point, half on the assist for Teuvo.

Bonus

T.J. Oshie Point

(-105, DraftKings Sportsbook)

Oshie only has one point over the past five games, but I like the spot against the Blue Jackets. Columbus has lost six of its past eight games and they check in as one of the worst 5v5 teams in the league. Oshie’s on the top line with Alex Ovechkin who I like to score tonight, so maybe we get an assist from Oshie. The winger has three shots in back-to-back games and has cleared 2.5 in five of his last eight contests, so consider his shot prop. Only Anaheim and Nashville have allowed more shots at 5v5/60 than Columbus since Dec. 1.
