Welcome to the NHL prop bets w/ Chris Meaney, where I share a few of my favorite NHL prop bets. There are 12 games on the NHL betting slate for Tuesday.

This is a great night for SGP point parlays, so be sure to check out our FTN Bets Tracker for more. With our betting package you get all of our picks across all sports, plus access to our Discord channel and to our projections. Promo code Meaney will get you 20% off all packages at FTN

Be sure to check out Mean Streets for daily picks and Dangle Bet Celly for full NHL breakdowns each Tuesday and Thursday.

Season Record: 37-28, +11.04 (Bonus not included in record)

I still like my bonus bets even though I don’t include them in the official record. The reason I list three official picks is because I don’t want to confuse anyone with too many picks. I also feel strong about my bonus picks but they are longer shots. If you’re looking for more be sure to check out our Pick Tracker

The Best NHL Prop Bets

Max Pacioretty Over 3.5 SOG -123

(-123, Caesars)

Unfortunately, the +100 we had on Mean Streets and in our Bet Tracker is gone, but this is still a decent price. Pacioretty has three goals and 13 shots in his first three games with the Hurricanes. He has a ridiculous 25 shot attempts over that span and he’s in a good spot to rack up a few more. Columbus ranks second in the NHL in shots and shot attempts allowed at 5v5/60.

Bonus

  • Max Pacioretty Goal (+136, FanDuel Sportsbook)
  • Max Pacioretty & Sebastian Aho Point Parlay (+105, Bet365)

Cole Caufield Over 3.5 SOG

(+100, BetRivers)

Caufield is the lone bright spot for the Canadiens this season, as he enters Thursday’s game with 23 goals. Four of those goals have come over his last five games and he has at least four shots in four of the five contests. He’s put 10 pucks on net over his last two games and he six in Nashville Jan. 3. Caufield gets a Preds team again here, this time in Montreal. Nashville has coughed up the second-most shot attempts and shots at 5v5/60 over the last month of the season, according to Natural Stat Trick. They’re also on the second half of a back-to-back. I’ve added Roman Josi as a bonus because he had seven shots and 12 attempts in the first matchup between these two teams. Josi runs the power play and the Habs lead the league in penalty minutes.

Bonus

  • Roman Josi Over 3.5 SOG (-132, Caesars)

Brandon Hagel Assist

(+122, FanDuel Sportsbook)

I like Hagel and the Lightning’s top line to have a big game. Hagel has 15 goals and 17 assists on the season, and he’s picked up at least a point in four of his past five games (three assists in his last four games). He has seven goals and 12 points over his last 11 games. Tampa Bay enters as massive home favorites against a Vancouver team that has the third highest GA/60 (3.3) over the last month. The Canucks have allowed 12 goals in their first two games of this current five game road trip. Overall, they’ve surrendered at last four goals in seven of their past 11 games.

Bonus

  • Brandon Hagel Goal (+225, FanDuel Sportsbook)
  • Brandon Hagel & Brayden Point Point Parlay (+115, Bet365)
