Today’s Best NHL Bets
Nashville/San Jose Over 6.5
(+102, BetRivers)
San Jose’s young roster has looked pretty darn good for most of the season, and after the trade deadline made their lineup even younger, I don’t necessarily see much drop off. Macklin Celebrini appears to be a generational talent. The only problem is their goaltending is down to Alexander Georgiev and Georgy Romanov, which is arguably the absolute worst duo in the NHL. The Predators are finally figuring things out offensively, but the issue now is that they really have to end the season on an immaculate run to have any chance of falling into the playoffs. Most of their games naturally trend to be high scoring, and I don’t see this one to be any different.
Winnipeg Jets -1.5
(+142, DraftKings Sportsbook, 2 units to win 2.84 units)
The Jets have one of the best home ice advantages in the league and get a matchup against an underachieving Rangers team. The Rangers are also dealing with a brutal injury to Adam Fox, who leaves their blue line extremely thin. I believe their inexperienced defense is going to slowly take the team out of the playoff hunt. There’s so much value here in the Jets puck line, and we’re going to give them another shot to win 2.84 units.
