Today’s Best NHL Bets

Los Angeles/Edmonton Over 6

(-110, Bet365/BetMGM/Caesars. 2.2 units to win 2 units)

Outside of Game 2, this series has been absolute torture to watch as a Kings fan. The Kings have been outcoached, which has led to them being outplayed ever since the third period of Game 3. While Game 5 was a surprising low-scoring affair, it was definitely not playing out to be a low-scoring game. Darcy Kuemper’s stellar goaltending turned a 4.9 xG performance by the Edmonton Oilers offense to just two actual Oilers goals. The Oilers offense has steadily gotten better and better as the series has progressed while the Kings have looked a bit stifled. Still, it doesn’t change that Calvin Pickard is a subpar goalie based on GSAA stats and is due for some regression at some point this series. Every single game so far has been high scoring, and Game 5 trended to being high scoring even though it wasn’t. I’m going for another big 2.2 unit bet to win 2 units.
