Winnipeg Jets ML

I am making this bet with full understanding that it’s likely going to be Eric Comrie in net for the Jets and not Connor Hellebuyck. The Predators are struggling mightily right now, and they’re going to continue to be cooked as long as they continue to not score goals. A roster this talented should not have the third-worst record in their conference, and their inability to score goals is going to keep it that way. Nothing is more desperate than running a five forward top power-play unit when you have Roman Josi available. The Jets are a better team in every way imaginable and we’re going to take them even with their backup goalie scheduled to start.
Philadelphia Flyers ML

This line is completely off. The Penguins have looked abysmal since the winter break, losing all three of their games by a combined 12 goals. This includes Tuesday, when the Flyers destroyed them 6-1. They’re a team that has looked disjointed throughout the season, and are now without one of their bright spots, Michael Bunting, who had his appendix taken out on Wednesday. On the other hand, the Flyers are surging and getting production throughout their lineup. Torts is starting to find different line combinations that are working well and I wouldn’t be surprised if the Flyers surge their way into the playoff picture. Going to make a bigger bet on this one in order to win 2 units.
