2021-22 NHL season preview: Metro Division

The NHL’s Metropolitan Division is back after a one-year hiatus. Six of the eight teams from last season’s East Division are back to compete together, along with Carolina and Columbus.

Overall, this looks like one of the most competitive divisions with no clear frontrunner and seven teams that could push for a playoff spot, with Columbus being in the middle of an obvious, yet poorly executed rebuilding effort.
