NHL Best Bets for Thursday (1/9)

This is the last weekend of the NFL season with more than four games on any DFS slate, and as the slates get smaller, cash games get a bit more difficult. The margin for error gets smaller as the player pool does, but that’s not going to stop me from playing cash on multiple slates this week. We’ll talk about the six-game slate (where most of my entries will be) and the Sunday three-game slate.
Playing GPP offers far more reward but plenty of risk as well, so some players opt to play cash every week. In this article, we’ll be setting cash cores for both DraftKings and FanDuel. These cores are meant to eat all the yummy chalk we can and play the popular players, even if we think they could potentially fail. Players that get rostered by 80% of the field in cash games don’t hurt you all that bad if you’re in that 80%. Let’s get busy and figure out who we’re playing!
