What is JockMKT?

JockMKT is a fantastic new fantasy football platform that combines the financial market and sports. Bidding on a player as an IPO and getting paid out where they finish on the day. Example: “If fifth place overall is worth $20, and Tom Brady finishes with the fifth-most points, then every user holding Tom Brady receives $20 per share.” It is a fun way to try and buy low on top targets that week who have big time upside and can pay off their IPO price.

How does bidding work?

Bidding is very similar to Ebay. You enter a max bid and JockMKT will only use your max bid on players if needed. If no one competes you will get the player at their initial offering.

Five Players to Bid on in Week 16

James Robinson, RB, Jacksonville Jaguars

Bid until top 30

The Jets are favorites for the first time since Week 4 in 2020 as they take on the Jacksonville Jaguars, but they are only 2.5-point favorites. James Robinson should be highly involved in this one in a fantastic matchup. On the season, the Jets are giving up 121.5 yards and 1.5 touchdowns per game on the ground with another 6.5 receptions, 58.3 yards and 0.29 touchdowns through the air. With Carlos Hyde out for the year, Robinson should dominate touches down the stretch for Jacksonville. Last week with no Hyde, Robinson saw 18 of 19 carries and six of eight backfield targets for the Jaguars.

Diontae Johnson, WR, Pittsburgh Steelers

Bid until top 30

Diontae Johnson failed to see double-digit targets last week for just the third time all season, as the Steelers threw the ball just 25 times against the Tennessee Titans, though he still led all Steelers receivers in targets (5). Going up against the powerhouse Chiefs as 8.5-point underdogs, Pittsburgh should be forced to air it out more in this one. Johnson has had zero games that he didn’t leave early this year where he did not lead the team in targets. He offers the perfect blend of both floor and ceiling.

Odell Beckham, WR, Los Angeles Rams

Bid until top 50

Odell Beckham is coming off a stinker of a performance Tuesday night, as Cooper Kupp yet again dominated. Kupp is currently projected to be the No. 1 bid-on player, which makes sense, as he has gone over 90 receiving yards in all but one game this season. The Rams take on a Vikings defense that is dead last in fantasy points allowed to receivers this season, in a dome, with the highest point total of the slate. While Kupp likely gets his yet again, if he ever stumbles, Beckham has slate-breaking upside.

Gabriel Davis, WR, Buffalo Bills

Bid until top 60

With Cole Beasley out and Emmanuel Sanders questionable, Gabriel Davis is set to have another massive role Sunday. Last year, Davis finished the year hot, scoring four touchdowns in his final six games. This year he is on pace to do it again, with four touchdowns in his last three games. He is now second on the team with 10 end zone targets, while he leads to the team with six touchdowns on end zone targets.

Javonte Williams, RB, Denver Broncos

Bid until top 65

Javonte Williams is coming on strong to finish the season. Even with Melvin Gordon playing in three of the last four games, Williams still has four straight games with at least 17 opportunities, and this week he takes on a Raiders defense that is allowing 141 total yards and 1.36 touchdowns per game to running backs this season.
