San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel Sr. popped off in a 36-24 victory over the Seahawks in Seattle on Thursday night. The former South Carolina Gamecock caught three of five targets for a team-high 103 yards and a touchdown. He also took four carries for 15 yards rushing. The first touchdown of Week 7 came on a 76-yard catch-and-run when a Seattle defensive back misread the trajectory of the ball, leaving Samuel Sr. to easily outrun a linebacker to the end zone. Samuel Sr. has now exceeded projections in three of five games in 2024. He'll have some extra time to enjoy the win before a Week 7 marquee matchup at home versus the Kansas City Chiefs.

Washington Commanders running back Brian Robinson Jr. (knee) was not spotted during the open portion of Thursday's practice, meaning he's likely to be listed as a "DNP" with a knee injury for the second straight day. Robinson missed the first day of practice last week and still played, but opening the week with two straight missed practices is far from ideal. If Robinson is in real danger of missing the Week 6 matchup with the Baltimore Ravens, Austin Ekeler (heel) could become an RB2 option, while Jeremy McNichols could be utilized as a deep-league flex play. Through the first five weeks of the season, Robinson is the RB9 in half-PPR formats and has posted over 400 yards of offense. Ekeler and McNichols have looked good in limited roles, but Baltimore has surrendered the fifth-fewest fantasy points per game to running backs through Week 5. Robinson's official game status will be announced Friday afternoon, so this is a "wait and see" situation.

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel Sr. will try to rebound from a weak performance when the team takes on the Seahawks in Seattle on Thursday night. In Week 5 Samuel Sr. was very quiet, finishing with one catch on three targets for 11 yards. He also took three carries for just nine yards. Samuel Sr. is on a bit of a cold streak. After opening the season with two strong games -- producing 16.2 and 14 half-PPR points -- he missed one game due to a calf injury. In the two games since his return, Samuel Sr. is averaging 34.5 yards per game and no touchdowns while his combined 8 targets are fewer than he garnered in either of the aforementioned productive contests. Seattle will be missing a few pieces on defense, most notably starting CB Riq Woolen (ankle), but they have given up the 10th-fewest points to opposing fantasy receivers in Yahoo default scoring. Samuel Sr. will be in the thick of the WR2 landscape when he laces up on Thursday night.

Washington Commanders wide receiver Noah Brown (groin) was listed as limited for the first practice of the week on Wednesday. It's an upgrade for Brown, who missed practice all of last week before sitting out of the Week 5 win over the Cleveland Browns. While there's no guarantee he'll return this Sunday to face the Baltimore Ravens, the 28-year-old is at least making progress and could have a shot to be active. Dyami Brown and Olamide Zaccheaus got some more run behind WR1 Terry McLaurin last weekend with Noah Brown sidelined. Through three games in his first year in D.C., Noah Brown has caught only nine passes on 10 targets for 111 yards and no touchdowns. Washington's offense has looked great under impressive rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels so far in 2024, but Noah Brown is merely a deep-league stash.

Washington Commanders running back Austin Ekeler (heel) was listed as a limited practice participant on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Brian Robinson Jr. (knee) missed the first practice of the week. Ekeler missed Week 4 due to a concussion but returned to action in the Week 5 win over the Cleveland Browns to touch the ball eight times for 97 scrimmage yards. Robinson had only seven carries for 18 yards but managed to find the end zone twice. The Commanders are going to continue to monitor B-Rob's knee heading into their Week 6 showdown in Baltimore against the Ravens, so even if he's active again this Sunday, Ekeler could pace Washington's backfield in snaps and touches. Jeremy McNichols also had seven carries for 44 yards and a score in Week 5 and could continue to have a role, which isn't great for Ekeler's fantasy upside. Consider Ekeler a WR3/flex option in PPR formats for Week 6.
