As the fantasy football season rolls on, situations change quickly week to week. Whether injuries, totals, game scripts, etc. the NFL landscape is constantly evolving. To help diagnose those changes weekly for fantasy football, I’ll highlight them using our amazing split tool.
Brandon Aiyuk, WR, San Francisco 49ers
Aiyuk is in another fantastic spot this week. With Deebo Samuel likely to miss this game, Aiyuk will lead this passing attack. With the 49ers probably playing from behind here against a beatable corner in Marshon Lattimore, Aiyuk can crush expectations. Lattimore has allowed a 68.2%, four receiving touchdowns and a 121.5 passer rating in coverage.
T.J. Hockenson, TE, Detroit Lions
As long as we don’t get any reports of him being limited, Hockenson can return his best performance of the season versus Washington. Without Kenny Golladay, his numbers have skyrocketed across the board. Matthew Stafford will have to lean on someone to attack this defense, and Hockenson is in a perfect position to be that guy.
Sterling Shepard, WR, New York Giants
Shepard might be a boring option to many, but his numbers when Golden Tate has been out have been anything but. Shepard has averaged over 15 DK points per game. With Shepard working out of the slot versus the Eagles, he will be heavily targeted this week. This game offers sneaky upside for Shepard against a struggling slot corner in Nickell Robey-Coleman, who has allowed an 80.7% catch rate and 118.6 passer rating this season.
