There’s really only one thing I’ll quickly say about the NFL DFS chalk this week, and it’s this: Jordan Love threw the ball 54 times last week. That’s almost twice as much as he would do on average. So all of the Packers receivers in play this week look like they’ll get an insane amount of targets if you look at last week’s data. They’re all a pretty clear fade for me because of this when you factor in ownership.
There comes a time when you probably can guess who I am going to write up and who I will not. I’m not sure what that says about me. There will certainly be a few players I am backing that go without saying. There will be a few that may take you by surprise. Read on to find out!
Quarterback
Kyler Murray, QB, Arizona Cardinals
Sporting the highest total of the slate, the Cardinals-49ers game could potentially be full of fantasy goodness. The issue seems to be people are afraid to stack the game from the Cardinals side since it’s unclear who may produce among the Cardinals pass catchers.
These situations often present the best opportunities to stack a quarterback since he’ll be lower rostered than his upside implies he should be. I may have a couple of Kyler stacks and just hope one of them hits with the right combo of his pass catchers. It’s also very much okay to just stack him with one pass catcher due to Murray’s rushing upside.
