TopProp Fantasy Sports is officially live, bringing you a new way to wager on fantasy football. Are you confident that you have the best team in your league? Great, bet on it. Are you confident that your league mate Bob is going to blow John out of the water this week? Great, bet on it.

Put down your group chat where you talk trash and put your money where your mouth is. That’s what TopProp gives you the ability to do. It also gives you the ability to wager on “Expert” leagues. These can be leagues made up of your favorite fantasy football analysts, industry experts, or anyone else you simply want to wager on. One of those leagues is made up of our experts here at FTN.

Additionally, their recent launch of Battleground allows users to face off head-to-head in player-prop contests with pre-populated spreads set on their fantasy-point matchups.

To help give you an edge ahead of the week at hand, I will walk through a pair of matchups that I found in the Battleground lobby and which way I recommend leaning if you want to claim the contest.

The Bengals have strung together an incredibly impressive postseason, particularly by way of their defense. As Derek Brown noted in his showdown breakdown:

“Over the last three games, they have allowed a 70.7% adjusted completion rate and 6.88 yards per attempt. These would have ranked 27th and 24th in the NFL in the regular season. While those numbers are concerning, there’s still a path to a ceiling game for Stafford. Cincinnati also has allowed a 70.0% deep completion rate and 106.2 deep passer rating, which correlates with their regular-season numbers.”

Is there a path for Matthew Stafford to fail? Sure, but with there being potential for regression back to their middling regular-season numbers. With the game at home for the Rams, Stafford will be fired up en route to hopefully winning his first career championship, making me lean his way with a one-point bonus.

Being on board with the Rams this weekend, I’m choosing to correlate my Stafford exposure with Cooper Kupp exposure, not that you should have to be convinced to invest in Kupp.

He’s found the end zone four times in three postseason games and is fresh off of his best game of the playoffs, posting an 11/142/2 line on 14 targets. With his touchdown equity arguably being greater than Mixon’s and the volume being almost comparable despite the positional difference, Kupp is the clear favorite here even facing a 3.5-point bonus for Mixon.
