Top 3 NFL PointsBet betting picks for Week 3

Betting on props is part art, part science and a whole ton of digging through stats and line shopping. One thing we have a ton of at FTN is stats, so that should not be an issue. Luckily at FTNBets we also have the Prop Shop that makes the line shopping part easier. Every site has some numbers that look a bit mispriced against the other books. That is why I never make a bet without looking at our prop shop first. I may love a player, a number, or a price at some book, but it never hurts to check and see if you can get that player for a better price or a lower number someone else before you put that money down.

Let’s take a look at Week 3.

Top 3 prop bets at PointsBet for NFL Week 3

Here are three of those plays that I absolutely love on PointsBet for this week.

Rob Gronkowski should keep it rolling

To score a touchdown, +135

Rob Gronkowski took a little bit of time to get rolling last year, but he absolutely crushed it in the Super Bowl. People were still sleeping on him even after that showing in fantasy drafts this season. He was basically a free pick in the double-digit rounds. He has absolutely crushed even the highest of expectations already this year. Through the first two games, he has scored four touchdowns, two in each game. The massive arsenal of weapons at Tom Brady’s disposal makes it impossible to cover them all. Gronk and Brady have played together for years and in certain coverage situations they both know exactly what the other guy is thinking. At +135, I know what I’m thinking and that is it’s time to get another piece of that endzone at + money for those two.

K.J. Osborn’s hot start continues

Over 42.5 receiving yards, -115

The Vikings’ No. 3 WR has had a hell of a start to the 2021 season. K.J. Osborn had 7 receptions for 76 yards on 9 targets in the opening game and followed that up by catching 5 balls for 91 yards on 6 targets in Week 2, including a 64-yard score to open the game for the Vikings last week. He is going to see a lot of single coverage with Justin Jefferson and Adam Thielen lining up with him. Vikings TE Irv Smith was injured in the preseason, opening the door for increased snaps and targets for Osborn. He has crushed it so far and I see no reason for that to stop now.

Daniel Jones’ ground game should stay strong

To score a rushing/receiving TD, +400

All credit goes to our fearless leader Kevin Adams, who was the one who put me on this. Daniel Jones has some wheels and we saw that in the last game as he tucked and ran a few times. Jones has 15 carries for over 120 yards through two games with a touchdown in each. He faces an Atlanta team Sunday with a dreadful defense that has been torched by the Bucs and Eagles in both of their games so far this season. Is Jones a lock for a rushing TD here? Absolutely not, but this is also not a -110 kind of bet. We are getting paid 4-1 to take the opportunity here and that feels high for a guy who is running this year against a team that QBs can run on.
