Top 3 NFL DraftKings betting picks

Across the sports betting market, there tends to be strong uniformity in NFL sides, totals and moneylines — but not total uniformity.

Using our NFL odds page to line shop, I’ve identified the following three lines that right now offer the most value at DraftKings Sportsbook relative to the rest of the market.

For all of this week’s best bets, make sure to check out our FTN Bet Tracker.

Arizona Cardinals at Dallas Cowboys Week 17 Odds

  • Bet: Cowboys -6.0
  • Odds: -110

This line has shot up across the industry following last week’s performances. The Cardinals lost their third straight game – a six-point loss at the hands of the Colts – while the Cowboys absolutely demolished the Football Team. The look-ahead line on this game was Cowboys -2.5, but it’s up to Cowboys -6.5 across most of the industry. However, you can still grab the Cowboys at -6.0 on DraftKings Sportsbook.

It’s often wise to fade teams when the spread jumps massively in a short period of time, but the Cowboys are 100% legit. They’ve been one of the best offensive teams in football for a while now. Their offense is led by Dak Prescott, one of the more underrated quarterbacks in the league, and they have an abundance of talented options on the offensive line and in the skill positions.

The big difference this year has been the defense. The team used their first-round pick on Micah Parsons, and he’s been a game-changer. He’s a lock to win Defensive Rookie of the Year, and he has a chance to be the first rookie to win Defensive Player of the Year since Lawrence Taylor in 1981.

He’s joined Demarcus Lawrence and Randy Gregory to give the Cowboys arguably the best trio of pass-rushers in all of football. Trevon Diggs also leads the league with 11 interceptions.

Meanwhile, the Cardinals have faltered down the stretch for the second straight season. Kyler Murray has started each of the past three losses for the Cardinals, one of which was against the hapless Lions. They have been a bit unlucky during that stretch – they’ve outgained each of their past three opponents – but they just don’t seem like the same squad that started the year red hot.

I’m going to ride the Cowboys until they buck me.

Pick: Cowboys -6.0

Philadelphia Eagles at Washington Football Team Week 17 Odds

  • Bet: Eagles ML
  • Odds: -200

Sticking with the NFC East, the Eagles pulled into the final Wild Card spot thanks to their win over the Giants last week. They close the year with matchups vs. the Football Team and the Cowboys, and they’ll be in the playoffs if they win out.

They’ll have their hands full with the Cowboys next week, so it would be in the team’s best interest to take care of business vs. the Football Team. This team is far from a juggernaut, with most of their wins coming against inferior competition, but they still stand out as clearly the better team in this matchup.

The Eagles beat the Football Team by 10 points in their first meeting this season, but that doesn’t tell the full story. Philly absolutely dominated in that contest, racking up 519 yards of total offense. The Football Team managed just 237, and only two turnovers from the Eagles managed to keep this game from getting out of hand.

The one thing the Eagles do very well is run the football, and they’ve racked up at least 176 rushing yards in seven of their past eight games. The Football Team is merely middle of the pack in terms of rushing defense, and the Eagles put up 238 rushing yards in their first meeting against them. As long as they can continue to move the ball on the ground, they should be able to win this game.

If you don’t want to bet the Eagles on the spread – which has gotten as high as -4.5 – you can consider them on the moneyline on DraftKings Sportsbook. They’re listed at just -200, which is the best price across the industry at the moment.

Pick: Eagles ML

Las Vegas Raiders at Indianapolis Colts Odds

  • Bet: Under 45.5
  • Odds: -110

The Colts got off to a slow start this season thanks to a brutal schedule, but they are a good football team. Their record has finally started to reflect their talent level, as they’re up to 9-6 for the year. They could put themselves in great shape to make the playoffs with a win over the Raiders on Sunday, and they’re sizable favorites to get the job done.

The Colts have excelled recently thanks to their dominant defense. They did allow 38 points to the Buccaneers in Week 12, but they’ve allowed 17 points in each of their past six games. They’ve also pitched a shutout over that time frame, albeit against the Texans.

If the Colts can put forth another strong effort on that side of the ball vs. the Raiders, this game has a good chance to go under. Each of the Colts’ past three games have gone under 45.5 points, despite the Colts averaging 26.7 points in those contests.

If you are interested in the under, do it on DraftKings Sportsbook. The total sits at 45.5, as opposed to 45.0 across most of the industry.

Pick: Under 45.5
