The NFL season is finally here, and I will be helping each week identifying the three best bets on BetMGM! We have a long 18-week NFL season ahead of us. As a friendly reminder, always be sure to shop around for the best possible prices. The easiest way to do so is by using our free FTN Prop Shop. Plug in the name of the player you are searching, and all their prop markets will come up. This article will not only identify three of the best bets each week, but offer the best possible price on the market. So, let’s dive into this week’s selections.

Cooper Kupp should feast in Week 2

OVER 5.5 Receptions (-115)

After seeing 10 targets in Week 1, and everything we have heard throughout the summer regarding Kupp and Matthew Stafford working out together, it’s become clear that Kupp is Stafford’s top target in this Rams offense. Getting 5.5 receptions in a pass-first offense as Stafford’s top target is a terrific number against a Colts secondary which struggled tremendously against slot receivers in Week 1.

Kyler Murray ready to run wild for Arizona

OVER 36.5 Rushing Yards (-110)

Here’s an interesting number from our Splits tool. In seven games where the Cardinals are home favorites since Kyler Murray’s rookie season, the Cardinals quarterback has averaged 62.3 rushing yards per game, over 25 yards more than his 26 out-of-split games. This line, oddly enough, accounts for those 26 out-of-split games, so we are getting an extremely valuable number here with the Cardinals currently 3.5 point home favorites.

Kyle Pitts shows his high-end TE upside

OVER 4.5 Receptions (-120)

Lastly for Week 2, after a relatively disappointing debut from the No. 3 overall pick, I like Kyle Pitts to rebound in a matchup that should see the Falcons playing from behind in a positive game script for pass-catchers. Pitts recorded just four receptions and 31 yards against the Eagles, but he did see eight targets, which is a relatively significant number. Kyle Murray projects Pitts for just over eight targets this week, as well as just over five receptions. The Buccaneers did surrender the seventh most receptions to tight ends in 2020. Matt Ryan has averaged over 41 pass attempts (5.5 more than out of split) per game when the Falcons are at least 10-point underdogs, so there will be plenty of opportunities here for the rookie tight end.
