The 25-year-old Izzo was the Patriots’ seventh-round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft. He played 18 games in his Patriots career, catching 19 passes for 313 yards and a touchdown. With the Patriots acquiring Hunter Henry and Jonnu Smith this offseason to go with 2020 draft picks Devin Asiasi and Dalton Keene, Izzo’s roster spot became tenuous.
