George Kittle Upgrades To Limited On Thursday

San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle (hamstring) upgraded to a limited practice on Thursday after he did not practice at all on Wednesday. Kittle is dealing with some hamstring irritation, but head coach Kyle Shanahan said he wasn't really worried about the tight end's status heading into a Week 11 divisional showdown versus the Seattle Seahawks this Sunday. As long as the 31-year-old veteran doesn't have a setback with his hamstring on Friday, he should be active in Week 11. He has scored seven touchdowns in eight games played in 2024 to put him atop the TE ranks in terms of fantasy points. In addition to his league-high seven touchdowns, Kittle has 43 receptions on 53 targets for 560 yards. On Oct. 10 in the first meeting against Seattle, he had five catches for 58 yards and two TDs. Kittle is a must-start, high-end TE1 for fantasy managers again this week.

Christian McCaffrey Limited On Wednesday

San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey (Achilles) will be a limited participant during Wednesday's practice, according to Tracy Sandler of FGSN. Sandler noted that his previous injury did not act up at all after the game and this is "part of the plan." McCaffrey made his 2024 season debut last weekend after sitting out the entire first half due to tendinitis in both of his Achilles. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status during the week, but this could simply be a way to manage his workload given the time he missed. The 28-year-old looked sharp last weekend against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and tallied 39 rushing yards and 68 receiving yards on 19 total touches. Fantasy managers should continue to view him as an elite RB1 going forward given his integral role on one of the best offensive units in football.

George Kittle Not Practicing On Wednesday

San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle (hamstring) will not practice on Wednesday, according to Nick Wagoner of ESPN. The standout tight end sustained this injury during last week's victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status throughout the week, as he could be in danger of sitting out this weekend if he misses another practice. The 31-year-old has been enjoying another fantastic campaign. Kittle has found the end zone in all but two games this season and has averaged a stellar 17.6 PPR points and 70.0 receiving yards per game. If Kittle can suit up to face the Seattle Seahawks this weekend, fantasy managers should continue to lock him into all starting lineups as a high-end TE1.UPDATE: Head coach Kyle Shanahan said there isn't much concern about Kittle's availability this week and is expecting him to practice on Thursday.

Patrick Taylor Jr. Remaining With 49ers

San Francisco 49ers running back Patrick Taylor Jr. was waived by the team last week to make room for Christian McCaffrey on the active roster. However, Taylor is back with the organization less than a week later. It appears Taylor was decided to rejoin the practice squad after clearing waivers this week. This move doesn't mean much right now considering Taylor has seven carries for 25 yards on the season. He's nice depth to have given the how often running backs get injured in San Francisco. He figures to fall behind Jordan Mason and Isaac Guerendo in the pecking order for backups, so fantasy managers can ignore Taylor.

Chris Conley Should Practice This Week

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Chris Conley (hamstring) is expected to practice this week, according to David Lombardi. Conley sat out of Sunday's win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers due to a hamstring injury. He suffered that injury during the Week 8 contest against the Dallas Cowboys. The return of Conley gives this team depth with Brandon Aiyuk (knee) done for the season. Conley hasn't done much this season and is unlikely to contribute right now with this offense mostly healthy.
