The Los Angeles Rams re-signed Leonard Floyd Monday, per NFL insider Josina Anderson.
After spending most of his career with the Chicago Bears, Floyd opted to return to the Rams Monday, where he secured a career-high 10.5 sacks in 2020. Floyd's presence allows the Rams to carry over their high-end play in the front seven to next season.
Fantasy slant: The Rams saw enough of Floyd in his first season with Los Angeles to extend his stay by four years. Floyd signed a new 64 million dollar deal. Floyd finished last season behind only Aaron Donald on the team in sacks (10.5). Floyd also ranked 28th in pressures (48), immediately ahead of Frank Clark among all edge defenders. – Derek Brown
