Welcome to the final edition of my NFL Playbook for the NFL season. We have made it to Super Bowl Sunday, and the Kansas City Chiefs will defend their crown against the Philadelphia Eagles. I have two player props that I love for Super Sunday, let’s get into them below.
When setting your own bets, don’t forget to check out some of the great tools we have here at FTN Fantasy that I use when making mine:
DeVonta Smith Over 4.5 Receptions
(+102, FanDuel Sportsbook)
Smith exceeded five receptions in seven of 16 games, averaging five catches per game. Smith has faced the Chiefs three times, and exceeded five receptions in each game, averaging 6.7 receptions per game. Per StatsHub, Smith leads all Eagles receivers in route participation (75.2%) and snap share (68.7%) and ranks second in target share (17.6%). Kansas City ran man coverage against the fifth-most dropbacks in the regular season (378), and Smith led Philadelphia in route participation against man (77.4%).
Marquise Brown Over 3.5 Receptions
(-122, FanDuel Sportsbook)
Brown only covered this number in two of his four games this season, but he’s slowly beginning to see the field more for Kansas City. Brown only played in 3.9% of snaps in his two regular-season games, but he’s played in 60% of snaps in the postseason, ranking third among Kansas City receivers. An opposing WR2 has cleared four or more receptions in four of the last six games against the Eagles, averaging 4.1 receptions per game.
