College Football Best Bets of the Week: Week 9

Sunday Night Football gives us a matchup of two of the league’s most storied franchises, as the Dallas Cowboys head to San Francisco to face the 49ers. Both teams are not having the seasons they were hoping for thus far. The Cowboys are just 3-3 with an offense that has yet to click and a defense riddled with injuries. The 49ers are 3-4 and in last place in their division. Brandon Aiyuk is on IR, Jauan Jennings is out and Deebo Samuel is coming off an illness but will be on the field. This could be a loser-misses-the-playoff matchup and is certainly a game both teams need to win. With that in mind, let’s hope the coaches don’t hold anything back, and insead think creatively about their play calls in the red zone. That could lead to some interesting touchdown scorers, but most importantly a longer shot getting the first score. Here’s who I will bet to score the first touchdown.
