We’ve had three games, and in all three, starting running backs have scored the first touchdown. These types of things happen, and as I’ve mentioned before, we need to focus on long-term performance and have faith that bigger numbers are coming. Week 1 is often like this since teams have spent all preseason finding ways to use their best players, and they like to unleash those plans early.
Tonight’s game features two of the best running backs in the league, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they continue this week’s trend, but I’m not going to bet on it. Christian McCaffery is 350 to score the first touchdown and Breece Hall is listed at 700. I don’t see any value in betting those prices, but here’s who I have bet.
