Las Vegas Raiders running back Zamir White is believed to be available via trade this offseason if some teams want to take a chance on the former fourth-rounder in 2022 out of the University of Georgia, according to The Athletic's Vic Tafur and Tashan Reed. White had some great moments for the Raiders in 2023 before falling off last year to a scheme change while also ending the year on Injured Reserve due to a quadriceps injury. The 25-year-old was set to take over for Josh Jacobs as the Raiders' lead back in 2024, but that did not happen. White ended up playing in only eight games (five starts) in his third year in the NFL and carried the ball 65 times for 183 yards (career-low 2.8 yards per carry) for one rushing touchdown. He added six catches for 30 yards. A change of scenery would probably be best for White's fantasy stock, but he'd still likely be nothing more than a complementary back elsewhere.

The Las Vegas Raiders announced on Tuesday that they placed running back Zamir White (quadriceps) on Injured Reserve and signed quarterback Carter Bradley to the 53-man active roster from the practice squad in a corresponding move. The Raiders also signed quarterback Jake Luton and defensive tackle Tyler Manoa to the practice squad and released defensive tackle Marquan McCall from the practice squad. White is now done for the rest of the 2024 season with the move. The 25-year-old was in line for lead-back duties after Josh Jacobs left in free agency, but he fell flat with the opportunity and gave way to Alexander Mattison early in the year. White ends up being a massive disappointment in his third year in the league with 183 rushing yards and one touchdown on 65 carries through eight games. Sincere McCormick has become a bigger part of Vegas' backfield of late with Mattison also hurt.

Las Vegas Raiders running back Zamir White (quadriceps) missed yet another practice on Thursday. White has missed the team's last two games and appears to be well on his way to missing a third straight this Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers unless he's able to get back on the practice field on Friday. It's been a very disappointing season for the 25-year-old, who opened the year with a shot at lead-back duties after Josh Jacobs left in free agency in the offseason. White squandered his opportunity and let Alexander Mattison jump him on the depth chart early in the year. He's averaging a measly 2.8 yards per carry on 65 rushing attempts for the season in eight games (five starts), and he hasn't seen double-digit carries since Sept. 29. Even if White miraculously returns for the Week 14 contest against the Bucs this weekend, he should remain on the waiver wire in most fantasy leagues.

Las Vegas Raiders running back Zamir White (quadriceps) missed the team's first practice of the week on Wednesday. White has missed the last two games due to a quadriceps injury and isn't on the right track to return this weekend when the team travels to Tampa to take on the Buccaneers on Sunday. Meanwhile, Alexander Mattison (ankle), who has missed the last two games as well, was limited on Wednesday. Even if White were to get back to practice later this week and play on Sunday, he'd likely be the RB3 for Vegas behind both Mattison and Ameer Abdullah. The 25-year-old opened the year with an opportunity to be the Raiders' lead back, but he squandered that chance and is now just looking to get healthy again. White is averaging a dreadful 2.8 yards per carry on 65 attempts through eight games in 2024 and is now rostered in only 21% of Yahoo fantasy leagues.

Las Vegas Raiders running back Zamir White (quadricep) has been ruled out for Week 13 after missing three consecutive practices. White, who has been sidelined since Week 11, has just 213 scrimmage yards and one touchdown through eight games this season. Fellow running back Alexander Mattison (ankle) is questionable this week but would draw the start if active. Otherwise, we'll see another week of Ameer Abdullah leading the Las Vegas backfield. Whichever running back starts for the Raiders is worth deploying as an RB3 in fantasy football.
