The New England Patriots made another addition Thursday, bring in ex-Packers DE Montravius Adams on a one-year deal, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Former Packers’ DE Montravius Adams reached agreement with the Patriots on a 1-year deal worth up to 2.5 million, per @DrewJRosenhaus, who now has done five deals this week with New England.

The four-year veteran Adams played his whole career with the Packers after the team took him in the third round of the 2017 draft. He played 45 games but only had three starts with Green Bay.
Patriots continue adding, sign Montravius Adams
Fantasy slant: New England continues to add depth along the defensive line to improve last year's putrid showing against the rush. Bill Belichick's run defense ranked 31st in adjusted line yards allowed last year. Adams will likely still be a rotational player for the Patriots, but the defense will get a boost versus opposing running backs when he's on the field. He played on 62 run defense snaps last season but was the 21st highest-graded interior run defender per PFF on that limited volume. – Derek Brown
