Andrews joined the Patriots as an undrafted free agent in 2015 and has spent his whole career with the team. He missed the entire 2019 season after being diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism but has averaged more than 14 games per season otherwise.
Patriots keep key OL piece, re-sign David Andrews
Fantasy slant: The Patriots retain the six-year veteran and offensive line anchor. Andrews missed four games last season due to a fractured thumb sustained in Week 3 and a calf strain in Week 15. The injured thumb impacted Andrews' ability to open pickle jars and to pass block. After ranking as one of the best pass protectors in the league in 2017-2018, he fell to 30th per PFF. Andrews will lead an offensive line that ranked third in adjusted line yards last season. — Derek Brown
