NFL Same Game Parlay Picks – Week 15 Thursday Night Football

The same game parlay for Thursday Night Football involves a mix of both the San Francisco 49ers and the Seattle Seahawks.

It is a tough game to predict with the 49ers coming in red hot but a little banged up. On the other end, the Seahawks are getting Kenneth Walker back but are really struggling down the stretch.

This same game parlay follows a reasonable game script for how this one should play out. I see the San Francisco 49ers getting out ahead early in the game due their defense and offensive playmakers all over the field. However, due to being at home, Seattle will stick around this game and make big plays through the air in order to keep it close. Ultimately, the 49ers defense will make enough stops to hold onto their early lead. I am predicting a score somewhere in the ballpark of 24-21 San Francisco.

The first leg of the same game parlay involves the 49ers winning outright. Right now, the 49ers are one of the hottest teams in the NFL. They just dominated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a game that had a quarterback matchup of Mr. Irrelevant Brock Purdy against Tom Brady. The 49ers are playing such high-level complementary football, and the lopsided quarterback matchup did not matter, which is very rare in today’s NFL. The reason I am sticking with the moneyline play rather than the spread is because they are on the road on a short week against a divisional opponent. While I believe the 49ers are a significantly better team, those three reasons are why this game will be closer than most people anticipate.

The second leg of the same game parlay is a DK Metcalf anytime touchdown. Metcalf has now strung together two good weeks in a row and is becoming a popular target for quarterback Geno Smith. Metcalf has scored in the past two games, and I expect that to continue on Thursday night. Obviously, at his size and speed, Metcalf is always a red-zone and home-run threat, which gives this prop inherent value. Metcalf is also second in the league in red-zone targets per game at 1.7 targets. With Geno looking Metcalf’s way, he should have a few opportunities to get in the end zone.

The last leg of my same game parlay is the 49ers’ team total of over 20.5 points. Right now, the 49ers could essentially put anyone at quarterback and they would be able to succeed in Kyle Shananan’s offense. The offensive scheme, plus the playmakers, have allowed this offense to flourish even with Purdy at quarterback. Additionally, the Seahawks defense is not very good. They gavev up 30 points to a Carolina Panthers team led by Sam Darnold. With the likes of Christian McCaffrey, Brandon Aiyuk and George Kittle making plays all over the field, the 49ers should be able to get over 21 points.

Overall, I see this as a highly competitive divisional game with both teams fighting for the playoffs. I believe the 49ers will come out on top due to their defense, talent and playmakers on offense. I expect the Seahawks to keep it close with Metcalf being a major part of that.
