We’ve hit the first set of bye weeks in the NFL, so the Week 5 DFS slate is the smallest of the year to this point. We also have the Sunday night game between Pittsburgh and Dallas, which is a fairly unique matchup, so let’s dive in.

Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills ($9,300)
It’s been a little bit of a rocky four weeks for Josh Allen, but when he’s been good, he’s been the QB1 on the week. Allen has only played in one competitive game to this point, and that has left Allen just 24th in passing attempts but second in points per dropback. Houston is 25th in DVOA-adjusted points against the quarterback position and 11th in DVOA against the pass, so this is still a reasonable spot to attack. The Texans are also ninth in dropbacks in Cover-1 and they have racked up three interceptions. On the flip side, Allen has thrown three touchdowns against Cover-1 defenses, and he’s got a 112.6 passer rating against zone coverages with an 84.1% completion rate.
