NFL Circa Millions Picks: Week 14

After going a disappointing 2-3 last week, my best entry in the Circa Millions NFL Picks contest dropped to tied for 26th place, though I’m still just three correct picks away from first. Here are some of the sides that pique my interest in Week 14.

Week 14 Circa Millions Picks

New York Jets +3.5

I hate going against my Houston Texans, but I give respect to the low total and the potential rain slowing down the Houston passing attack. The Jets garbage team just seems like it’s more fit for a garbage game. Now that we’re past the Tim Boyle experiment, we can let Zach Wilson reign supreme for 180 yards and a touchdown and somehow lose by 3 points. I’ll take the hook and hopefully the W on the spread.

Cincinnati Bengals PK

I’m generally seeing -2 and the Bengals ML as a -130, so this is a clear stale line and decent play. Of course, it will be a super popular pick as well, so I don’t expect to move up much if it hits. Nonetheless, I’m high enough in the standings and there’s still five weeks left to play. I’ll choose my battles against the crowd in other spots.

Jacksonville Jaguars +3.5

Like the Bengals line, this one is looking stale. I’m generally seeing +2.5. Obviously, whether Trevor Lawrence plays will greatly influence the closing line. I’ll have to get my pick in well before finding out for sure. I’ll take the free point covering the most important number in NFL betting.

Tennessee Titans +13

I’m not sure if it’s because I just don’t want to admit how good the Dolphins are or how bad a team that rosters DeAndre Hopkins can be, but I would like to think that this game could be kept to less than two touchdowns. At the end of the day, the Titans defense is pretty decent. This is one of the few “non-chalky” picks I have this week that I kind of like.
