The NFL preseason has one week left. That means the start of the regular season is getting closer, so it’s time for some bold predictions for the 2024 fantasy football season.
Remember, what we’re after today are bold predictions. That means these are predictions of extreme outcomes, which means I do not expect to hit on all of these. But I do think they are all within the realistic range of outcomes. When you’re on draft day and deciding between two players, these predictions can help nudge you in a direction, because even if the players I mention below don’t hit their ceiling or bust prediction, I think they’re probably more likely to outperform (or underperform) their ADP. And with the high ceilings definitely in play, even better — after all, we’re trying to win championships, not finish middle of the pack.
2024 Fantasy Football Bold Predictions
Patrick Mahomes throws for 50 touchdowns. Armed with arguably the most talent he’s ever had with Xavier Worthy and Marquise Brown joining Travis Kelce and Rashee Rice, I think Mahomes will have a career year.
