Time to wrap up Week 7 of the NFL Season with a Monday Day Football Matchup of two storied franchises, the Chicago Bears and New England Patriots. The game will feature two interesting young quarterbacks, Justin Fields and Mac Jones.
Here are my two best player props for the game this Monday night!
Rhamondre Stevenson Over 13.5 Rushing Attempts
(FanDuel) -114
Bill Belichick knows how important it is to help young Mac Jones out with the run game. He has proven he will rely on the physical run game and physical presence of Rhamondre Stevenson to take pressure off the QB. Stevenson has carried the ball 19, 25 and 14 times in his last four games. I expect that to continue, as he has established himself as the feature back in New England’s offense. My expectation for this game is New England is up in the second half, which should also give Belichick a reason to hand the ball to Stevenson. I like Stevenson to push 20 carries in this game based on his status as the featured back and New England having a second half lead.
Justin Fields Under 41.5 Rushing Yards
(DraftKings) -110
One thing Belichick is known for is taking away the other team’s strong suit. For Justin Fields, that is scrambling and creating plays via his feet. Belichick knows the only way this Bears offense produces explosive plays is from Fields’ mobility. Expect there to be multiple spys on Fields in order to take away his scrambling. The New England run defense has hit their stride, holding NFL leading rusher Nick Chubb to only 56 yards rushing in their last game. I expect a fully stacked box throughout the game, forcing Fields to beat them by throwing the ball, which i doubt will happen.
