Michael Davis re-signs with the Chargers

Cornerback Michael Davis agreed to a three-year deal with $15 million in guaranteed money to return to the Los Angeles Chargers Monday, per NFL Network's Mike Garafolo.

Analysis: Michael Davis has been quietly excellent for Los Angeles over the last two seasons opposite the departed Casey Hayward. Davis has allowed a 61.9% catch rate (142 targets) and passer ratings of 77.7 and 77.5 in his coverage. Retaining Davis is a great start for Brandon Staley's new-look defense.
