Kansas City Chiefs rookie wide receiver Rashee Rice averaged only 3.6 air yards per catch during the regular season, which ranked last among 466 receivers with at least 900 yards in a season since at least 2006. But he set a career-high in Week 17 against the Bengals with a 7.6-yard average depth per reception and backed it up with a 6.9-yard average in the win over the Dolphins in the wild-card round. He caught three passes against Miami on passes thrown more than 10 yards past the line of scrimmage -- he made just nine such catches during the regular season. With Rice and quarterback Patrick Mahomes starting to gel down the stretch and into the postseason, it could make their offense much more explosive than it was all year long. Rice's 130 yards against the Dolphins were three more yards than the career-high he set against Cincy in Week 17.

Cleveland Browns running back Kareem Hunt remains interested in re-signing with the team during the upcoming offseason, he told Jake Trotter of ESPN. The veteran "loves the organization" but does intend to consider other opportunities outside of Cleveland this offseason, too. Hunt joined the Browns prior to Week 3 in an effort to bolster the backfield after Nick Chubb (knee) tore his ACL. Although Jerome Ford was the team's lead running back, Hunt led the way with nine rushing touchdowns. He also contributed 411 rushing yards and 84 receiving yards. Even if he re-signs with Cleveland, the veteran will likely be buried in a depth role behind Chubb and Ford.

Cleveland Browns running back Kareem Hunt carried the ball eight times for 26 yards and a touchdown while adding five catches for nine yards and a second touchdown in a 45-14 loss to the Houston Texans in the first round of the playoffs on Saturday. Hunt provided the only offense for the Browns in the lopsided loss as he scored both of his touchdowns in the first half on Saturday afternoon. Hunt was signed by Cleveland after Nick Chubb's season-ending knee injury in Week 2 and is slated to become an unrestricted free-agent yet again this offseason. It remains to be seen whether the Browns show interest in bringing him back as it would likely depend on how Chubb is progressing in his rehab this offseason.

Kansas City Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco braved the elements of Saturday's sub-zero conditions as the team topped the Miami Dolphins 26-7 on Super Wild Card Weekend, carrying the ball a career-high 24 times for 89 yards and one touchdown. Pacheco started hot, rushing for a 23-yard pickup on K.C.'s opening possession en route to a 65-yard first half. The second half was a quiet one for Pacheco until he took a direct snap on a trick play for a score to help the Chiefs pull away from a discombobulated Dolphins squad late. All things considered, the 24-year-old second-year man out of Rutgers ran hard -- as he always does -- in bitterly-cold temperatures and returned a solid fantasy output. Pacheco will deal with either the Buffalo Bills, who yielded the third-most yards per carry (4.6) this year, on the road or the Houston Texans (3.5 YPC allowed) at home in next weekend's Divisional clash.

The moment was not too big for Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice in Saturday's postseason debut, shining for eight receptions (12 targets), 130 yards, and one touchdown in the 26-7 wild-card triumph over the Miami Dolphins. It was an electric performance out of Rice, who gobbled up six of his eight passes for 92 yards in the first half and racked up 39 of them courtesy of a catch-and-run on third-and-long right before halftime. Rice made no mistake from 11 yards away for a score on K.C.'s opening drive. With Saturday's showing, the dynamic 23-year-old set a Chiefs rookie record for most receiving yards in a playoff game. Rice shared after the contest that he was fine after tweaking his ankle in the third quarter. With that said, the second-rounder's practice status will still be worth monitoring leading into next weekend's Divisional duel either in Orchard Park against the Buffalo Bills or at Arrowhead Stadium versus the Houston Texans.
