The AFC South’s first-place Tennessee Titans will travel to Houston to take on the last-place Texans in Week 8. Surprise, surprise, the Titans are flying under the radar at 4-2 with a great opportunity to move to 5-2 against an inferior opponent. Derrick Henry is heating up as winter approaches, and the Texans’ league-worst rush defense will be tasked with slowing down King Henry in this contest.
Houston’s offense is also led by its running back, Dameon Pierce. Pierce, a rookie, has been turning heads since training camp with his ferocity and seemingly unbreakable will when running the football. This matchup between two of the league’s toughest runners will embody exactly the kind of grind-it-out, hard-nosed football the AFC South has become accustomed to over the past few seasons. Whoever can stop the run will have a big edge in this one.
