The NFL season is heating up, as we’ve reached the midseason. As you’ll see across FTN, there will be numerous pieces of content, as well as our terrific statistical tools available to all subscribers. If you haven’t already joined our Discord server, I certainly recommend doing so, as our experts generally find time throughout the week for open discussions, as well as to answer any questions you may have.
This article will cover a trio of my favorite first-look NFL bets for this week’s slate of games. All three plays will additionally be located in our Bet Tracker, but all the analysis surrounding each play can be found below.
Brian Robinson Jr. Over 57.5 Rushing Yards
(-110, Bet365)
We begin with a rushing yardage prop. As of now, Brian Robinson Jr. is questionable with a hamstring injury, but he logged limited practices all week, so the expectation is that he will suit up without any issues. The Commanders are certainly hoping to have him available as the Giants are allowing the most explosive plays on the ground in the NFL this season per our FTN StatsHub, with 17.7% of all rushing attempts netting 10 or more rushing yards. Additionally, the Giants allow the second most yards per carry in the NFL out of a stacked box (5.3 yards). Overall, they allow 5.4 yards per carry, so a stacked box isn’t helping them stop the run. Our projections have Robinson going for 66 rushing yards on 15 attempts this week, giving us a pretty sizable edge at 57.5 rushing yards.
