Welcome to the Week 5 edition of Golden Games, where we highlight the best fantasy football matchups of the week.
We’re going to try a new format this week: Ranking every single game based on how many total fantasy points from projected fantasy starters will be scored. What better way to pick the “fantasy games of the week” than using a projection-based model?
This ranks “game environments” and is highly useful for both DFS and season-long fantasy, where you can choose your non-superstar starters wisely based on likelihood of a shootout.

This game ranked No. 2 in total fantasy points scored, but No. 1 (by a lot) in projected fantasy points scored by starter-caliber fantasy players. Vegas agrees, as this game has an over-under of 49.5 — highest in the league this weekend.
