Golden Games, Week 1: Best Fantasy Matchups This Week

Welcome to the Week 1 edition of Golden Games, where we highlight the best fantasy football matchups of the week.

This process is going to be simple. We’re looking for a few things each week:

• • Game Environment: Good offenses? Bad defenses? Good weather? Which matchups have all (or most) of the firework ingredients we’re looking for?

• • Gamescript: Perhaps a game is set up to be ho-hum overall — but the gamescript may be favorable for a certain type of player.

• • Exploitable Matchups: Maybe there’s nothing spectacular for fantasy about a game on paper. But when you dig deeper, you see that this team actually gives up a ton of points to TEs. We’ll highlight these, too.
