The New York Giants agreed to terms with ex-Bengals receiver John Ross on a one-year deal Tuesday, according to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo.
The #Giants have agreed to terms with WR John Ross on a one-year, $2.5 million deal that includes $1 million guaranteed, source says. The ninth overall pick in 2017 with the 4.22 40 time gets a chance to reset his career in East Rutherford.

Analysis: The Giants bring in a speedster to team with Darius Slayton on the outside. If Ross can finally stay healthy (which is a big if), what he could bring to the table as a deep threat could be great for Daniel Jones. Among 38 quarterbacks with 20 or more deep ball attempts last season, Jones finished seventh in deep adjusted completion percentage (51.2%) and first in deep passer rating (132.5). Ross is an interesting dart throw in the last rounds of your best ball drafts.
